DAD'S MINOLTA FLASH METER IV

REAL WORLD REFERENCE

8 years ago my dad handed me his 25-year-old flash meter. He used this device for his day to day job back then since he was a photographer in the 90s. His name is even etched onto the back of it because his first one was stolen.

He knew that I was moving to Canada to pursue a career in the media arts, and felt it was right to hand it down to me.

I decided to model, texture and lookdev this flash meter because not only did I want to showcase my ability to replicate a real world object in 3D, but I also wanted to finally "use" the device (maybe not in the way that my dad thought I would use it though, sorry dad :P)

- Modeled in Maya
